Jesus as the Son of God

Foundational teaching
Recognizing Jesus as the Son of God is essential to understanding His divine authority and His relationship with the Father. This identity confirms His role in God's plan to rescue people from sin. Peter's confession is the turning point of the Gospel accounts, and it remains the confession at the center of Christian faith.

If Jesus is the Son of God, His words are not just good advice — they are trustworthy truth. His promises hold. His invitation is genuine. Everything He said about forgiveness, eternal life, and the Father's love rests on who He is.
